Both my boiler and AC unit were assessed and thorough instruction was given on my new thermostat, repairs needed for the AC compressor explained and promptly completed, and heating/cooling maintenance program was explained to me. I was unhappy when I was told my heat exchanger was cracked. I thought I would have been given a heads up because of the preventive maintenance plan that I have with VHP. After careful consideration, research and consulting with VHP, I ordered a new furnace to replace my 19 year furnace. Everyone that I dealt with seemed to understand my fustration, and worked with me to resolve the situation at hand. I am viewing the $6000+ later as an investment. The heat exchanger for the furnace I purchase has stainless steel coils that have a lifetime warranty. The below average rating is only because I believe that I should have been told about this deficiency a lot sooner because of the preventive maintenance plan.
